2017 LABC Building Awards
Della Valle Architects won Best Individual New Home at this years Somerset Building Control Partnership Awards and progressed to the South West Awards, which covers an area from Cornwall to Somerset. After a nail biting wait, we were delighted to be awarded second place in this very highly contested catagory. It is a great honour to be recognised in these awards with competition standards being extremely rigourous.
Please visit the 'New Build' section of the website to view the property. This large family home in Butleigh utilises reclaimed blue lias stone, horizontal hardwood boarding and oak framed structures to reflect the local vernacular. Internally, it has an open plan feel and maximises glazing and bi fold doors to access the outside spaces.
